S A U D I    D E C E P T I O N S

Recently Saudi King Fahd declared the "consultative" group established a few years ago after the Gulf War and known as the "Shoura Council" a great success, appointed a few more loyal followers to expand its numbers, and proclaimed all to be well in the "Kingdom" he and his family misrule, draining it evermore of its wealth and resources.

The "modern" Middle East wouldn't be the backward, corrupt, fractured, and fatally divided area that it is today but for the "Kingdom" of "Saudi" Arabia and the al-Saud "Royal" Family that rules -- so despicably and so outrageously in the view of so many.

IN THE "KINGDOM"

The very idea that a former drunken playboy from the casinos and brothels of London and Beirut is not only King but "custodian of the two holy mosques" seems blasphemous. The very attempt in recent years to portray the crony-oriented "Shoura Council" as anything other than perpetuation of total monarchistic rule is ridiculous. The very notion that "Saudi" Arabia is something other than an oil and petrodollar cow remote-controlled by the Americans on most matters that count is harder and harder to defend.

At home, Saudi Arabia is one of the most despotic and repressive police-states in the world. Fear and corruption are everywhere. The American presence may be kept to a visible minimum, but in recent years has become nearly total on matters relating to international political and economic affairs. In reality, the custodian of the two holy mosques has become Washington, home of the Israeli-Jewish lobby.

IN THE U.S. SAUDI CONTROL OF: UPI, ANA, AAI, WRMEA, CNI

Having bought up, or bought off, most of the major media sources of information about the Middle East, little usually finds its way into print or onto TV about this situation; but throughout the world in Middle East circles the Saudi "government" is privately spoken of with considerable derision and loathing.

In the U.S. for instance, to protect their image, deflect all criticisms, and compromise as many as possible, the Saudis have:

.

1) Bought up an international news service and carefully used money and influence to neutralize most others. It's called UPI, United Press International.

2) Set up an Arab cable TV network. It's called "Arab Network of America", ANA.

3) Set up a "spokesman" for Arab Americans who, while articulate with the media, is widely considered an Arab Uncle Tom, a complete sell-out. His name is Jim Zogby, head of the "Arab American Institute", AAI.

4) Provided substantial funding and various means of support for a monthly magazine which pretends to be independent but in reality always reflects the views of the wealthy Arab establishment (and periodically lavishes praise on all things Saudi). It's name is "Washington Report on Middle East Affairs", WRMEA.

5) Established a group of retired Congressmen and Foreign Service officers that work with the "Washington Report" and pretend to be advocates for "American national interests" (read Saudi political and business interests). It's called the Council for the National Interest, CNI.

BANDAR IN WASHINGTON

If it weren't for this al-Saud family Iraq would not have been destroyed, the Americans would not be in control in the Gulf, and the Palestinians would not be trapped in a duplicitous "peace process".

If it weren't for the squandering of both the wealth and political power of Saudi Arabia, the Arab world wouldn't be in the miserable state of powerlessness, division, and polarization that it is today.

.

If if weren't for His Highness Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, representative of the Saudi royal family in Washington, the Israeli/Jewish lobby wouldn't be as powerful in the U.S. as it is today -- for over 15 years now Bandar has in reality been working more and more closely with this lobby behind the scenes.

.

If it weren't for manipulation brought about by the many hired agents of the Saudi Royal family the various interest groups concerned with the Middle East in the US, and especially in Washington, wouldn't be nearly so weak, impotent, and politically prostituted as they are.

As history unfolds, these usually unpublished (but widely spoken) realities are having their impact as the entire Middle East region -- stripped of its dignity and independence and with the Saudi Royal Family in the lead -- dangerously polarizes and heads toward chaos and revolution on top of all the suffering and bloodshed it has already endured.
