There
have been various inquiries about articles dealing with ADC, the American-Arab
Anti-Discrimination Committee.
The following information should be of interest for those concerned:
1) Before the recent MER article was published MER contacted ADC President Hala Maksoud asking if there was an explanation for what we had uncovered. There was no response either to phone calls or faxes -- the usual approach taken by those with something to hide when they have been found out.
2) MER has obtained actual tape recordings of the issues involved and verified the information we published from a number of sources over a period of many weeks prior to delayed publication.
3) Even as of this date ADC has backed away from publicly denying the veracity of the published MER article, but has instead spread a variety of twisted self-serving assertions accompanied by vicious lies and slanderous innuendoes -- all behind the scenes, usually in unaccountable ways, and with the usual damn-the-messenger approach.
Whereas everything MER has asserted has been out in the open, published in print for everyone to read and consider; everything ADC seems to do regarding these matters (as opposed to the constant flow of self-congratulatory press releases) is done behind peoples backs in the most self-serving and disingenuous manner.
