National Security Adviser made an unprecedented joint visit to the campus of Ohio State

SATURATION DECEPTION UNDERWAY FROM WASHINGTON MER - Washington - 18 February 1998:
There is so much duplicity coming out of the Clinton Administration its truly amazing.
As prelude to the planned saturation bombing of Iraq they and their Israeli comrades are
so intent on unleashing, the Clinton folk are engaging in saturation deception here at
home. There's much more planned now, partly to make up for yesterday's debacle.
The examples are everywhere. Just one for the moment -- the 1988 use of chemical
weapons at Halabja which all of the Clinton men (and one woman) have now taken to harking
about at every opportunity.
It did happen. The only problem is Saddam Hussein was a major ally of the United States
at the time, and the money, equipment, and weapons he used were mostly made in the U.S.A.
(with more money from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and more weapons and chemicals from
America's European allies.)
How quickly and conveniently everyone seems to "forget". How treacherous and
disengenuous the political leaders have become. How compliant, complicitous, and co-opted
the major media now allow themselves to be; CNN's "exclusive coup" yesterday the
latest and most outrageous example. The Clinton Administration has taken everything from
selling policies for "campaign contributions", to hush money finessing, to sex
(without relationship or intercourse) in the Oval Office, to new heights of absurdity and
incredulity.
We all owe the hecklers and the pointed questioners our considerable gratitude. It's
not an easy role to pull off. One is usually vilified and targeted. But without them it
really would have been a true debacle yesterday. Without them it would have been a campus
teach-in conceived by government, sponsored by corporate media, and staged at a university
campus, with all of us in the viewing audience turned into props and patsies. Kudos
Hecklers.
P.S. Now... as the bombers are fueled and Ms. Madeleine heads to safer and more
controlled campuses and forums to spew her venomous deceptions... WHAT'S NEXT?
