I like to thank you very much for all the effort you've
put into MER. I highly admire your courage and determination and specially
your sensitivity towards injustice. As Albert Einstein used to say, "small
is the number of them that see with their own eyes and feel with their
own hearts." Youdefinitely belong to this small group of people. My
congratulations to you

I'm really amazed at what a stellar bunch you've gotten
together -- many of the names I recognize as the absolute cream of the
commentators, etc., on the Middle East... I think your publication is brilliant,
and the best that I've seen anywhere.I appreciate both the even-handedness
of information and the bite in your editorials. Mentioning credit where
credit is due and blame where blame is due seems to be such a rarity in
reporting on ME issues.

First I want to thank you for a great piece of work.
I really think that you do a great job telling the TRUTH instead of the
propaganda we read in the newspapers.

A friend here in Baku Azerbaijan introduced me to MER,
through coping articles to me. I recently read your article on Prince Bandar,
unfortunatley this is true of too many of our peers nowadays. Good article
and glad I am now listed with yourselves to recieve more of your revealing
articles.

I'm a Palestinian currently in the US to work on my Ph.D
in economics at Oklahoma State University. It is hard enough nowadays to
find 'mideast' stories in the mainstream media... But when it comes to
news from the region I come from, the little that you could find is heavyly
distorted, reactionary, and pro-Zionist. And the most distorted thing about
it is its definition of terms like: "peace", "terrorism",
"extremist", "moderate", and even "middleeast"...
Anyway, its all these distortions that make MER an indispensable light
in this sea of media darkness as I said before. Good luck!

... I hope you endure. The work you are doing is extremely
important, even with what you consider a limited distribution. I know many
people here [in Israel] do get MER.
