[MER - Bibi's on the way to Washington
again -- summoned by the Clinton crowd to pretend to once again put "pressures"
on the Israelis to "resolve" the current "peace process" impasse.
To call it all deja vu is an understatement
in the extreme.
The bottom line is rather quite
simple: Since 1967 with all kinds of twists and turns the United States
of America has been the primary agent of Israeli expansion and domination
in the Middle East.
No amount of rhetorical deception,
political duplicitousness, and public relations chicanery can change this
overall historical reality. And no White House meetings, nor Arab League
resolutions (already violated in a major way by Air Moroc and King Hassan)
are going to change what has been done -- far more potent forces will be
required to bring about that result if it ever
is to be.
If the Americans were serious there
is a simple solution -- stand up to the Israeli/Jewish lobby and stop the
immense and unprecedented flow of money and guns to Israel.
If the client Arab regimes (i.e., "The
Arab League") were serious -- knowing very well that all their armies combined
are outclassed by the Israelis by about a factor of 8X -- they would at
least impose a real boycott against Israel UNTIL there is a sovereign,
contiguous, and real Palestinian State, with capital in Jerusalem, and
with Palestinian refugee camps abolished.
Goodness...the Americans have their boycott of Cuba against the views of
nearly the entire world (and continue to strengthen it yearly)!
What's wrong with the Arabs boycotting
a country that in fact the whole world continually condemns and whose occupation
is now going beyond the half-century mark! These harsh realities in mind,
sometimes a little humor can be invigorating.
If you are in general agreement with the views and
insights from MER please realize we are completely independent and need
your encouragement and support to be able to continue and have a growing
impact. Indeed we should have a regular newsletter for the press to help
the media see through the fog of deceptions -- but we can only do these
things with your help. Please look at the unique information and analysis
available at our Web site, the Statement of Principles of the new COMMITTEE
ON THE MIDDLE EAST -- http://www.MiddleEast.org/come.htm -- and then please
message us with your ideas, encouragement, and support.
And make sure you are on the MER email list. If
you are not sure message to: MER@MIDDLEEAST.ORG saying "SEND MER". If you
are on the list you will not be duplicated; but if you are not you will
be added and will begin receiving MER regularly.
