Of course they're not going to say 'Occupied Palestine' instead of 'Palestine'. The Israelis and their many powerful and rich Jewish and Zionist lobby friends are going to push for something more reminiscent to Americans who can relate better to 'territories'...like in maybe 'Indian Territories' of centuries past. So...even as they work hard to make sure PARADISE NOW does not win the best foreign film category, even so they want it said not that it comes from 'Palestine' or 'occupied Palestine' but rather from 'the Palestinian territories.' Just one more blow to the increasingly fractured, imprisoned, and desperate Palestinians -- not to mention to history and justice. <b on></b><!-- 11719 -->
