The Middle East is in great turmoil and transition. Decisions which paths to try, which feints to make, are being made in many capitals now, most of all Jerusalem and Washington. Damascus still remains a major player in the game. But it's hard to escape the feeling that the big prizes are now in play starting with Iran and followed by Saudi Arabia and Egypt. And who knows with all the pressures and contradictions what will happen to one of the other big players...Pakistan.
