The first MERTV Programs
were made in the studios of Chicago Access in 1994, the year after the historic White House "Oslo Agreement" signing ceremony
with Yasser Arafat, Yitzhak Rabin, and Bill Clinton.
On that historic day Bruzonsky provided the live television commentary throughout
the White House event for Canadian National Television (CTV). Very much against the
widely prevailing view at the time Bruzonsky clearly predicted the agreement
would be temporary and would fail as it was built upon totally different
goals and expectations.
The Lines in the Sand
Programs were made from the video interview with Mark Bruzonsky made for
one of the first multimedia CDs about the Middle East which had that title.
All MERTV programs are
28 minutes.
The hundreds of MERTV programs are
all now available at http://vimeo.com/channels/mertv and http://vimeo.com/channels/middleeast
